Who is texting me?

I went to your old office. Where are you now?
"That's right, our Indiana office has moved to our permanent location at 2429 W US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Please note our portal is and will always be available 24/7/365."
Do I have to have an appointment to drop off my taxes?
"No, you can drop off any time during our normal business hours or use our dropbox at our Greenfield location 24/7. However, we would like to spend about 10 minutes meeting with you to ensure we have everything we need to prepare your taxes timely."
Where's my refund?
"Our portal has a link to go directly to the IRS or your state website to get your refund status."
How long will it take to get my finished tax return?
"It depends on several things, but first and foremost, having all your documents when you drop off or upload is essential for the swiftness of preparing your return. This year we will schedule a time for your return to be complete. We'll give you a proposed promised date. We want you to have the best experience possible by having your return prepared by our professionals. Please note Melinda will not rush for the sake of speed. Quality takes time, and we want you to pay the least tax possible. She will dot every "i" and cross every "t." Not to mention, our Videos contain valuable information. Please watch them!"
My bank needs my tax return. Can you email it to me?
"No, email is not safe. However, your tax return is in your secure online portal. All you need is your username and password. If you cannot remember, give us a call! The link is on this website!"
My bank needs you to write an assurance letter so I can get a loan. Will you do that for me?
"Unfortunately, no. My insurance provider prohibits me from writing any assurance letter. (i.e., regarding your future income or Going Concern of your business). There are other ways to prove your income, and we will be happy to help you get this information to your bank."
What happens if I get audited?
"Our office will handle any tax correspondence or audits for one small annual fee. Check out our Video on our new Client Care Package."
Do I have to take the Client Care Package?
"No. However, we recommend it to avoid our higher regular rates to deal with Notices, IRS Audits, or Tax ID Theft. If you get the plan and decide it is not "right for you," you have 30 days from the time you pay to Opt-Out. Otherwise, it will be in full force and not refundable."
What records and other documentation will you need from me?
"To prepare a proper return, " Any received IRS documents from third parties, such as W2s, 1099s, 1098s, and other verification of income and expenses. Also, if you have children, we always need proof your child lives with you (by the way, college-aged students still live with you)."
Well, can't I give you my last pay stub?
"No, using your last pay stub is against IRS rules."
How do you determine your fees?
"Prices may vary based on the complexity of your return. You may require additional schedules, supporting forms, or whether your return has "out of the ordinary" line items."
